From your first consultation to the final delivery of your gown, we will personally guide you through every step of the journey.
Personal Consultation
Every bespoke creation begins with a conversation.
During a private online consultation, our designer will take the time to understand your vision, style, and the story behind your special occasion.
Together, we will discuss:
- Your wedding or event
- Design inspirations and personal preferences
- Fabrics, colours, embroidery and embellishments
- Timeline and budget
This collaborative process allows us to create a design that is uniquely yours.
Personal Measurements
A beautifully fitted gown begins with precise measurements.
We will provide a comprehensive measurement guide and personally assist you throughout the process.
You may either:
- Take your measurements with the assistance of a family member or friend
- Visit a trusted local tailor for professional measurements
Every measurement will be carefully reviewed by our team before production begins, ensuring the highest level of accuracy.
Design Confirmation
Once every design detail has been finalised—including silhouette, fabrics, colours, and craftsmanship—we begin creating your bespoke garment.
Every Little Silk Woman piece is individually patterned and handcrafted exclusively for you. Nothing is mass-produced, and no two creations are ever exactly alike.
Toile Fitting
Because true couture is defined by fit, we create a toile—a mock-up garment—before crafting your final gown.
This allows us to refine every proportion and detail with exceptional precision.
The shipping cost of the toile will be fully covered by Little Silk Woman.
Once it arrives, we will arrange a private online fitting session. During the fitting, our designer will guide you through every step, ensuring the toile is worn correctly while carefully assessing the fit in real time.
We will also ask you to provide photographs from several angles, allowing us to study every detail beyond what can be seen during the video consultation.
There is no need to return the toile. After the fitting, you are welcome to keep it while we use the fitting results to perfect your final pattern.
Crafting Your Couture Piece
After carefully analysing the toile fitting, every adjustment is incorporated into your personal pattern before the final garment is created.
Each piece is handcrafted by experienced artisans using carefully selected fabrics and traditional couture techniques.
From cutting and construction to embroidery and finishing, every detail is completed with patience, precision, and uncompromising attention to quality.
Worldwide Delivery
Before your gown leaves our studio, it undergoes a final quality inspection, professional pressing, and careful packaging to ensure it arrives in impeccable condition.
The shipping cost for the completed gown is the client’s responsibility.
We work with trusted international couriers, including DHL and SF Express, and are pleased to provide a shipping quotation before dispatch.
